1 7/8" or 2" primary headers for 434ci?

1 7/8" or 2" primary headers for 434ci? I am in the process of switching oil pans and mounts on my 434ci Nissan 350z. The headers on there now are 1 7/8" primaries to 3" collectors but are being sold with my current swap kit. I can either buy a set of 1 7/8" with 3.5" collectors or build my own set of 2" primaries with a 3 or 3.5". Would I see any gains by going through all of the trouble making 2" headers? Engine is ERL block 434ci 11.8:1 with TFS 245s and a bunch of nitrous.
