Default valley cover options

Building a genIV 5.3 with 3.898 bore and im looking for a valley cover to get rid of dod. Have been told the ls2 cover will work. Any other suggestion out there. Thanks for your help

Ls2 is 1 option the other is a ls3 from a stick car or you can make 1 out of 1/4 aluminum sheet.

If you make a plate from scratch, be sure to tap and plug the DOD towers. With the covers mentioned above, you can either tap and plug or seal the towers with factory o-rings...

That was one thing i was considering just wasnt sure about oil psi. I think i will tap and plug the passages regardless of which cover i use or fab. Thanks alot

GM part #12598832 only 35 bucks and blocks off towers and comes with gasket and bolts
