Default ls2 and hydroboost

Here's where I'm starting from:

Engine swap - crate LS2 into a smaller car.
Vintage Air FrontRunner setup with a tc PAS pump.
04 Mustang Cobra hydroboost setup.
Appleton custom rack.
Custom remote PAS reservoir - location has packaging constraints. It's a fair size - maybe a quart and all aluminum so it ought to cool adequately.

System works great until it warms up.
Then it starts doing a deliverance impression (squeal like a pig).
It only does it when not under load - accelerating is quiet.
It does it regardless of whether the brake pedal is applied.
All components are new (and by new I don't mean Cardone rebuilds).
Pump is flowing 3.5GPM @ 1400PSI.

I'm guessing cavitation.

Anyone had this problem?
If so what was the fix?

I'm going to try the screw in Mustang rack flow reducer (the one that goes into the PAS pump - I have an Appleton rack, remember) as a first go around. UPS has it, so I won't know until next week if that does the trick.

If that doesn't work the next option is a cooler. There's room up front in front of the A/C to fit it. I'm a bit unsure as to whether it's going to be ok there though because I thought the hydroboost to reservoir low pressure had to be all downhill. Anyone care to comment on this?

If that doesn't work I have no clue what to look at next. I'm open to all suggestions because this is the only thing stopping me getting the car inspected and I'm jonesing to drive it.
