Just wondering for those that have installed a set of these how long It should take? Also are there any additional items I need (bolts, gaskets, clamps etc). Going to get these, the O2 extensions and the catless X pipe.
Any tips or tricks? What needs to move/loosen or come out? Any special tools, sockets etc? This is my first ever install of headers on a corvette as well so I know it will take longer than an experienced shop with a lift etc. My guess is 5-7 hours based on what I've researched but only found 1 3/4 and 1 7/8 threads.
Thanks.

Honestly, the trickiest part of the C6Z install is the getting the nuts rem'd from the oem manifold to the midpipe
Hit them with a Matco/Mac/SnapOn swivel impact socket on the FIRST try. You'll be able to break 2 or 3 on each side PRIOR to removing the oem manifold from the cyl. head, then you'll need to remove the manifold/midpipe assembly for those last 2 nuts.
2 oil lines for sure, drain the oil prior.
I've done about 40 C6Z06's since 2007, if you need tech help send me a PM with your # or call the shop.
I'll be in Carlisle next week along with Nick, Louie, Phil and the rest of the ARH Team.
We've been installing about 30 sets of C5/6 headers at the 4 day event since 2006 and have shipped out 100's across the US.
Look forward to seeing the finished results!!!!
