Need help with Exhaust! Driving me crazy! I have an 01 ws6 m6. When I bought the car it had Hedman longtubes with ory (no cats) and slp lm1 catback. The car sounds wicked at idle and wot but just cruising around the rasp is unbearable. Ive dwlt with this for the past 9 months and its time to make a change. Can anyone make a reccomendation as to maybe what I can swap out the slp resonator out with and kill the rasp. I still want it loud, but not busted 84 ford truck with no exhaust loud. I also need to do this for as cheap as possible, saving up for my cam upgrade (Tsp Torquer V2) and I dobt wanna blow it all on exhaust, I need to keep as much as what already there as possible.I appreciate any help.
I had that exact same setup, and switched to Magnaflow 14419 muffler (fit right in place of my LM 1) and did a Flowmaster merge pipe as well. It was a cheap option, and it killed about 90% of the rasp, and still is pretty damn loud lol
