Default Looking for some advice from those with experience!

Hey guys,

My name is Brady, I'm a shop owner form Maryland. I joined here to do research and get feedback for my new project.

My shop does import and domestic performance work, but my car is actually an import. I have a 2013 Scion FRS. It was 450whp turbocharged on the stock motor, but I sold everything including the drivetrain and ordered an 07 CTS-V Complete Drop Out!

I've started the engine build and all the conversion of the car, I'm not the first guy to do this swap, but I'm pretty sure I'm the 2nd.

The Build

Gen IV LS2 from 2007 CTS-V

Cometic Head Gaskets
ARP Head Studs
Heads Have Been Cleaned and Had Fresh 5 Angle Valve Job
FAST LSX-R 102 Manifold
Comp Cams Timing Set
Comp Cams Lifters
Comp Cams Upgraded Roller Trunions
Comp Cams Pushrods
PRC Titanium Retainers
PRC Dual Valve Springs, Seats, and Locks
Comp Cams LS-R 281LR HR13 Cam
Converted to 3 Bolt Style Cam and Timing Components
Stock Short Block
Tuned on HP Tuners

Car Weighs 2700 lbs, 2905 With Me in it
The Rear End in the car is 4.10
Will be running 275/40/17 ET Streets
Has Full Coilover Suspension

1.The only thing I haven't bought yet is a clutch and flywheel setup, any input would be great!

2. Anybody have a wheel horsepower range they think I should fall into with that setup?

3. Is the 4:10 rear in the car going to make quarter mile times suffer?

Thanks for reading, I'll be posting pictures as the build continues!

Default Frs

1.Monster Stage 3 Clutch.
2. Anywhere from 380-460.
3. They should only help you granted you can get a wide enough tire on there.

Personally, I'd worry less about the rear end ratio and more about keeping the rear end from exploding, just my .02

Oh believe me, I'm already expecting it, it held the 450hp turbo but that was with 300 torque, I know it's not going to last, but there's a Ford 9" conversion available for after the stock one goes!
