I agree, he installed it incorrectly on the driver's side of the crank, but on the other side, the distance between the crank and the tensioner pulley on the passenger side head is correct, and that's what is flopping all around. It would benefit from having another idle there.

I'm fighting a belt issue right now where after some hard blasts, the belt is walking off the tensioner pulley, and now it's clearly evident why.

At least they used real street headers, manual water pump and an alternator.

I had an electric pump, and admit no alternator, but did use my old 1 7/8" headers and a steel flywheel. I have 2" now with aluminum.

That thing is making a lot more torque than mine did down low and I thought mine was stout at 561 ft.lbs at 3500 rpm.

A tensioner pulley with taller guides will help with that.
Alper Motorsports has one, it's #05-11CRT.

I had an aftermarket alternator pulley that came with my ASP pulley. Would walk the belt off every 10 miles. Went back to stock, and no issues. The ASP unit was a little taller and put some angle in the belt.

You noticed that too huh?

Either it's not that "small" of a cam or they need help learning how to tune.

I was talking with a student at SAM at LSfest and he was telling me they machined a top for a Holley high ram that accepted twin throttle bodies. I wonder how that would compare?

No one mentioned how they had to keep bumping the throttle on decel to keep it from stalling.
