Angry Tach probloms

Hi guys I have a 1999 Camaro SS that I recently swapped full suspension into along with a 6.0 iron block with ls3 heads, Everything worked fine when first starting it up other then the tach. I checked wiring and grounds ect. did some research and the harness for ls1 car to ls2 cam sensor you have to swap a and c wires so I swapped them and it worked for about 30 seconds or so and stopped but when driving it will randomly start working for a few seconds and just drop out of no where. Ive replaced the cam sensor twice now thinking it was the cam sensor the only thing I have noticed is that when taking the cam sensor out it has a very very small grove in it like its rubbing the gear behind the front cover any ideas?

any help or advice in the right direction would be appreciated

I had the same problem, but when I swapped the wires it worked fine. it sounds to me like the wires from the harness aren't making a good contact with the sensor. I would look at the harness.
