Holley valve covers.....

I just bought some black Holley LS valve covers for my 02 Z06. I started to mount the coils on the covers but the spacing is off. The spacing on the valve covers is too far apart to mount the coils. The covers were for my application. I did not even see another part # for the black covers. Any ideas?????

They fit my LS3 coils fine. Call them, perhaps they offer a different style.

No brackets, the coils mount directly to the studs on mine.

I'm also looking at these valve covers. Which coils fits? all L3 coils, oem or aftermarket? And do they have enough clearance for shaftmonted rockers? sorry for changing subject.

My L92 coils fit just fine. They do give out the hole spacing dimension.

LS1/LS6 coil packs have a different mounting bolt pattern from all other (LS2/3/7 and LQ4/9, etc) coil packs.

It's funny, I bought the Holley coil pack covers (to hide the coils). The coils mount to the bottom of the covers and had to be LS1 coils, so I had to buy a new set of coils to make them work. Looks like you are in the opposite situation. Here's a comparison pic:

You can make LS1 coils work. You will need a dremel cut off wheel and you will have to cut the ends of the coils. Instead of it having two holes you will have two slots. Here is a picture of a coil that I did to show a customer. Don't mind the paint on the coil. It was just a first coat anyways. I will be repainting them after it has been slotted.
