Default Rebuilding L92/LY6/823 heads

Hey guys, needed help on rebuilding these heads. I see people saying to install the PAC 1218 springs, but then see people saying to get double springs. What would be recommended for these heads with a mild cam (under .600 lift) and some boost? Would I need to buy new spring retainers as well or can I just throw in the springs and leave everything else stock? (Let me know if I should replace anything more on these heads as well)

It depends on the camshaft. If you don't have the hollow stem valves, then you may want to pick up a dual spring kit, which will require different seats, retainers, and seals.

Well if they were to be beehive should I replace the retainers seats and all that stuff with the springs, are the PAC 1218's still the go to springs? (They are going to be beehive)

You don't have to, but I would prefer a little more spring pressure than what the "drop in" beehives have. The 1218's are only 318lbs open, which may or may not be enough to control the heavy valves in the L92 heads.
