Lq9 performance questions Hello all. Looking for some info here to start saving money for my car. It's 02 z28 with the 6.0 lq9 can anybody tell me what kind of air intake, headers, and cam I should be looking for. And also how could I tell if my car was definitely a lq9? Thank you in advance
Lq9 is the 6.0 iron block engine with flat top pistons for more compression. You should be able to see the 6.0 marking on the block. Unless you know what the motor came out of or until you take the heads off and look at the pistons you will not be able to tell whether it is an lq9 or an lq4.
