Default Is the mamo ported fast 102 overkill?

I'm debating on going with a stock fast 102 or the mamo ported fast 102
Will it be worth it on my set up? This is the last part I have to order to finish my build it. Here the basic list of mods on the car Goal is 500+ whp Also will porting the fast 102 hurt the power down low?
Stock ls2 bottom end
Tfs 225 heads
Btr Cam stage 4 specs are 235/242 .621"/.592" 111+3
Nw 102 tb
Kooks stepped header
Du speed cold air
Slp crank pulley

Thanks for any input

Seems like you want to do well by the parts you already have chosen. I say send the manifold to him and let him work his magic. He just don't spend 30 minutes with a dremel doing work. It takes him roughly 12 hours to get the manifold to his satisfaction. That tells me that it's really been worked on.....

Shooting for 500 RWHP W/ stock LS2 displacement you can't leave
Those horses on the table! Not porting the FAST on your build
Worth 10-12 maybe as much as 15. Tony ported my Fast 92
and LS2 TB for my bolt-on 99 C5 6 years ago, and I am still very happy with it.
In fact I also had Tony port a FAST LS3 for my big bore TFS build
and will have him MAMOFY the Race-Runners as soon as they are
Available.
Go with Tony and you will have NO REGRETS!

Waiting for tony response I'll be pulling the trigger on one. I feel like I lost my mind on all the money I spent on a na build lol. Anyone see a reason it won't make 500?

This is a great thread to read on how Tony makes magic happens..... 500 is achievable but it takes MAX PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAILS.

I seen that thread it made me start thinking about his ported fast 102

I keep hearing that my cam not big enough to hit my goal but I don't think I can go much bigger if any bigger with out piston meeting the vavles

I'll be running morel link bar lifter n btr rocker upgrade kit. I feel I have the best parts for my goal but if anyone see something I should change please let me know

Cam is big enough!
Not sure about LSA & advance though, especially with future N2O.

Have you already purchased cam & heads?

Was just notified of this thread.....OP....not sure if your PM'ed me or emailed but I didn't received either.

No biggie.....to answer your question porting the intake is a no brainer.....doubles the gains from the swap for 25% or so of the total cost of installation (give or take).

Not sure if you already have the intake but I try to keep a ported cathedral on the shelf and will have one ready in a few days. If your sending me a new unit I can just swap it out (assuming you already have the manifold?).

Just shoot me a PM or email and we can figure out the specifics/details from there.

Cheers,
Tony

EDIT.....Just realized the OP and I have already been communicating via email....just put two and two together after recently responding to our existing email dialogue......LOL

Tony's porting will help low-end as well as top end power on your FAST 102.
BTR LS1/2 stage IV 235*/242* will not have good low end, or daily driver
Manners IMHO and is a tad on the large side for your CI.
The stage II 227*/234* would be a great daily driver and have great
Throttle response with your supporting mods but I think might fall short
Of 500 RWHP! The stage III 231*/242* while I like the intake duration
Has a 11* exhaust split which is to much IMHO with good flowing
Exhaust port (TFS 225) and Kooks stepped header (1 3/4-1 7/8) ?
If it was me I would ask if I could exchange for their( LS2 Stage III
INTAKE 231* and combine it with their LS3 Stage II Exhaust 238*)
even if I needed to Pay for exchange and custom order charge, this would have The same 7* Split as their LS2 stage II & IV CAMS and would provide
The best of all worlds from the BTR Catalog IMHO.
I would choose a LSA of 114*+3* ( but my preference is for a smoother
Idle with more top end charge ) A younger person might prefer
An LSA of 111*-112* + 2*-3* which will Deliver a more choppy/lopey idle with more violent low and mid range Power.
Just my .02 discuss want you want with Brian, he is very cool to work with!
