Not familiar with some of the newer LS parts. This alternator was installed on a 5.3 car I just picked up. It has no harness and I'm in the middle of building one. (megaSquirt)
Can anyone tell me what alt this is? Make model car it is from? How it needs to be wired and where I can find the weather pack plug for it?
I don’t see any model #’s stamped on the case. It’s mounted directly to the Gen3 LS1 water pump with 2 small spacers. I assumed it had to be a GM unit.

Interesting! What balancer offset are you using? I'll (soon) need something like this for a Corvette balancer, will be running alternator only...
I'd never run an alternator mounted like that. There is no support on the backside and those bosses on the water pump were only designed to hold the belt tensioner. But I'm picky like that...
