The reason I was looking at an LSX block is because I know someone on the net selling one it's a few hundred cheaper than Jegs.

Ls2 block is better for dry sleeving over a Ls3 block... cleans up nicer.
it's usually 2 grand to get that done. Kinda expensive but you have the best of both worlds... The strength of iron but the weight of aluminum

If you ever plan on spraying the motor 350 or more shot of nitrous or adding a big load of boost I'll rock the LSX block.
