Engine and tranny install from top

Engine and tranny install from top I recently had to rebuild my engine which I had took out from the top. Is it possible to go ahead and bolt the transmission to the engine and install both through the top so I don't have to wrestle with the transmission under the car on shaky jack stands?
it can be done, ive seen someone pull the engine and tranny out together on here I think.
something to consider though, you may need to get the car on jack stands, that way you have enough depth to drop the E&T in a bit more before you have to start tilting the tranny back under the car into position. Hope that makes sense
