EV1 injectors LS3 intake mainfold
EV1 injectors LS3 intake mainfold I bought some racertronix 160lb LS1 style (EV1) i think injectors awhile ago. I had a set of aftermarket LS1 fuel rails that i modified to fit on to the LS3 intake (offset holes drilled) So current configuration is LS1 style injectors and rails mounted to the LS3 intake manifold..
The setup is Jerry rigged and kind of a PIA to take on and off.. I am considering buying a set of LS3 rail and brackets for the shear ease of installing and removing.. Is there anything i am not considering such as mounting height etc. with purchasing the LS3 rails? i really don't feel like modifying anything and just want a drop in setup. If that's not possible im ok with what i have.
I guess my real guestion lies in the brackets.. will the LS3 style mounting brackets work with an LS1 height injector?

It will but you will have to run washers or spacers to raise the rail up from the intake mounting points to fit the EV1 style injectors.
