Borla catback should i buy or pass??

So I found a really good deal on a borla catback guys only asking $200 for it and is also including a Y pipe but the only thing is it looks like its seen some prerty good use. Not sure if these things crap out after a certain amount of miles or something of that nature, i dont really care about the looks so long as it works fine. What do you guys think does it smell like a good deal or should i just let it pass?
Also my current mods are speed engineering long tube headers and ORY on a 1999 pontiac trans am

Dude that thing looks like **** I wouldn't put it anywhere near my car. Borla sounds raspy anyway if you start modding everything. Go with a Magnaflow catback or something.

I thought Borla was stainless, maybe the tailpipes just have mild steel welded in.

If they're stainless pipes they'll clean up just fine if you want to spend the time

Real borla muffler is backed by a 1,000,000 mile warranty. That's a good deal because it's ugly. If that doesn't bother you go for it

I wouldn't buy that. I run a nonadjustable borla and like it but that one is too old for my taste.

Sorry guys been meaning to post just been busy but i did go ahead and pick it up and, the pipes connecting to the tips were preety rusty the seller said they were replaced with some steel ones because there was a hole in the stainless ones, so i just ordered some stainless steel pipes to replace those rusted nightmares for about $30 so all in all being out $230 for a $800 catback I'm preety happy with the deal but, i wont be able to install it until the end of the month gotta love going to the field haha. I'll let you guys know how the install goes it should be preety straight foward post up some pics after the install
