Name that sound! My Texas Speed 570 horse LS3 was finally started. After I warmed it up to temp for the first time the steam vent hose came off at the valley and spewed out some coolent (distilled H20 with Joe Gibbs additive). I got a better clamp on it to solve that problem. Days later I noticed a chirping/squelling sound that was there at idle and got much worse if rpm's climbed. I cleaned the belt with Dawn twice and the pulleys and idlers with alcohol 1st then Dawn. Everything was allowed to dry....the sound persists! I used a screw driver and my ear to listed to whatever I could to see if I could isolate the noise...nothing. All of the pulleys and idlers spin freely by hand with no noise. Thoughts? the motor has zero miles on it...just garage run time.
