Cam sensor adapter wire routing

Cam sensor adapter wire routing I am putting an LS2 402 in my 98 vette. I have the cam and knock sensor relocate wire loom. Question is how do I route the wire to the cam sensor in the front of the engine? I am trying to go under the intake along where the valley cover meets up with the head on the driver side but it interferes with the air pipe bracket on the back of the driver head causing the intake not to sit flush on the head in the back. I tried going around but the wires are too short. Before I extend the wire to route around the driver side of the engine I wanted to see what others thought first.
