Now I'm not sure which heads and intake to run. I'm not shooting for a specific HP rating, it's going to be what it is and I will be happy with it. Just would like to make it fairly reliable.
Would like to keep the compression around 11.5:1 range pump gas. Heads I'm thinking of Mast or maybe the new Brodix heads. Jesel lifters, Jesel rockers.
On the intake I'm not sure if I should go with a single round TB or double round or a since 4bbl type? Need to keep it DBW, so I guess that kinda makes my decision there. What are some of your guy's thoughts on this?
The MSD Atomic intake seems to be best one out for keeping things under the hood at a good price. If you go 4 barrel type TB that won't stay under the hood!
Can you elaborate on this, or know something good to read about this.
I have heard about the vacuum pump thing and know just enough
to make myself mad about it. But I don't have anything good to chew on.

Sealing up and engine is another issue for seals around the crank. Either way a vacuum pump is a great addition. Do a search online, there is plenty to read about how they work and what to do and what not to do.
I'm going to call today and see who has the best one for my configuration.

with a Medium sized cam (235*ish intake with +12* Exhaust

GZ Vacum Pump with no more than 10" Vacum should provide
Desired results without drying out wrist-pins with a well
Designed oil system.(ported medium volume pump is what
I would suggest) unless you are running 1 mile distances and
Beyond then you probably need a dry-sump.
