Default Stall converter help

Ok guys need you're help. Just bought a 2002 ss camaro with 50k miles and went ahead and bought a 233/239 cam from tsp with long tube headers and a off road y pipe. I'm having mixed thoughts about my stall I wanna get. I don't drive the car very much maybe 100 miles a month if that. Will be adding 100 shot of nitrous. What's everyone running stall wise. I've been told a 3200 would work but I've also heard no

What gears do you have?

Currently, my 95 Impala with a heads/cam LS3 has a 3200 stall TC in a 4L60e, w/3.42 gears......and it works very well.

BTW....my Impala ways just over 4200 LBs without driver (me).... With the weight of the Camaro, you would want at least 3.23 gears.....but more gear (3.42's to 3.73's) would be pretty damn exciting!!

As I stated, I have a Circle-D converter because the shop that did my work happened to have one NIB and offered it to me on the cheap.

But.....my preference is for Yank (my other two cars has them) and my preferred Yank is their 'SS' series.

I ran the Yank ss3600 in my HCI 150shot ls1 TA. The car was my DD for awhile and had no issues with that size stall. I was actually going to have the converter changed to the ss4000 but ending up selling the car.

3600 is probably the best choice ; 3200 would be minimum. i chose a 3k because i read somewhere i wouldn't need a re-tune, guess what i do.

i love my SS4000 but that may be excessive with your N20. Don't see how you can go wrong with an SS3600

part 2 , i read somewhere if you plan to run nos , turbo or blower you should have anti ballooning plates. my billet converter does have that. cheers
