Is anything off of a 99 ls1 (intake, cam, accesories, heads) interchangeable with a LY5? did some searching and didnt find much results? i know its a 4th gen block but i want to know what ill have to do to make the swap as least painful as possible. thanks

 

Basically everything except the pistons will fit. The alternator bracket is the only other thing that will cause problems. The iron blocks didn't have the holes drilled/tapped, so you will have to do it yourself. Not a big deal.
