OK, to be fair, I would first ask for your Coil Dwell setting ?
The Denso 580/585 coil has a Dwell Staller "safety" feature @ 5ms Dwell.

NEXT question : The BEST coils ARE Made In China, even the US LAW "states" NOT TO REMOVE that Label unless sold as part of a kit, not with case shipments.

REASON : They have the most Rare Earth materials, low grade steel, (good for coil magnetic effects), and costs.

OUR factory, in China, is ONLY for OUR production, ALL with US Standards and Engineering.
Most of the production is for EOM's

Got the harness today. Should have transmission/etc back in this weekend, then start the coil install.

Need to probably hack up the brackets to weld them to the holley covers.

I prefer oem gm stuff, if it works in factory performance cars, it works pretty high end in n/a engines.

Does anybody have LS3 coils part number?

I just read that if you have the Pantera coils you need to disconnect them if you put a battery charger on the car. Is this true?

I have an L92 motor and I cannot seem to find a price for the IGN-1A kit. I would appreciate someone to PM me the price. I am also running the Holley valve covers that the coils bolt right to the valve cover with 72mm bolt spacing for the stock coils. Looks like I would have to make a couple of brackets for this to work.

Edit: I live in Cypress, Ca so I am in driving distance to Santa Ana where Pantera is located.

You'll have to PM or call Lance for a price. I will say they are a solid 3x what factory coils cost.

Brackets will need to be cut/welded/modified. I think I can just hack off some of the points and reweld them to fit the holley.

Default Ignition Coils IGN-1A

You have a GREAT point, Battery Charging Voltage with EXTERNAL chargers.
The key is "off" and as we know many items are in operation, the clock is one such item.

A "charger" with high voltage, +17 volts, could cause a problem.

MANY electrical items have "clamp" diodes for their protection as do my coils.

The IGN-1A coil has an internal "clamp" Zener @ 18 volts.
This device helps in many ways, one such is to protect the EMS.

The need to "disconnect" is not true UNLESS you try to start the car with the charger connected.

NEVER A GOOD METHOD in ALL CASES

Thanks for the request, if you have the Valve Covers that fit the Holley NHRA required Pro-Stock coil, the kit cost would be less.
This is the IGN-1A coil.
The stock coils ?
This could be a new bracket design for me to create, just a "water jetted" S/S item.
