Best Intake for 6.2 ??
I'm putting a 6.2 out of a 07 caddy in my TBSS, her is what I'm doing to it.
GM performance cnc ported L92 heads, milled 30.
Custom BTR cam kit.
C6 oil pan swap.
4L80 trans
Ptc converter
(Will have nitrous)
It's 2 wheel drive.
What would be the best Intake for it?
It's also going to be daily driver.

What are the cam specs? If fairly mild (up to 500HP+/-) the stock LS3 manifold will do well. Much more than that and a FAST is in your future.

For what you are doing, no. You will lose low and midrange power. The Victor Jr. is a race manifold for max top end power, at the expense of low and midrange, because of its short runners which do not make much low end torque.

Are there no truck type intakes for them ?
How are you applying the nitrous ? Some sort of single nozzle, or port injection ?
An alloy type intake might be easier to install nozzles etc although it can be done on plastic too

There is a new intake manifold for the LS3 that is just now coming on the market. It is similar to the Holly Hi Ram but is made to fit vehicles such as the 5th Gen Camaro. Here is the link.

Would be interesting to see a dyno test.....

There is a thread going on about this new intake manifold at this link. At least one dyno test is posted.

Good gains after 4500rpm on their own dyno. They will have SAM's dyno test it in about 2 weeks to see what's what on an independent dyno. I think this will give a FAST a run for the money...

I posted about it the other day here.
It's definitely a cool piece, although looking in that thread, mention of using a gasket for a head/intake seal I can only see as a bad thing especially with boost.
I really hope they do have provision for OEM type seals.
He reckons around $1500 or so, which is certainly an affordable price for what looks to be a very good piece.
