LS3 alt bracket
LS3 alt bracket I've been searching for a while and haven't been able to find a solid answer. Does the corvette style alternator high mount with PS work bolt up the the low mount style LS3 without swapping all the other acc?
My alternator came located down low and need to place it up to clear the rails. I've been looking at the holley bracket but I believe the stock bracket is cheaper. Part in question is 12578067. Jegs is selling it for like 65 bucks.

Pretty sure the Corvette bracket takes a corvette only alternator but holley bracket uses standard truck or car alternator.I am running Holley bracket with LS3 ps pump and Holley ac bracket on my 71 C10.

No problem your welcome,I took some these pics about a a year ago.I have front end off now installing LS3 and 4l85e.Just make sure you use never seize or moly lube on any bolts going into holley bracket !!

Sounds just like my build I got going on right now too. I'm doing an LS3 with a 4l80e also. Doing some power upgrades to the motor before I drop it in. H/C/I and full exhaust. You have a really nice looking C-10!
I've been slowly redoing a lot of stuff that was wrong with it. Whole front end steering, a ECE drop kit, redid the Ford 9" and added a TruTrac with 3:70's, and now I'm taking on upgrading the 5.3/4l60e. Adding a entropy LSX radiator and doing a Boyd's rear mount tank.

Yeah sounds like me !! Truck looks great BTW love the red interior.I have some good pics to show you tomorrow of my Boyds tank install and also where i put gas fill.Looks like you have the camaro L99 water pump when you order holley bracket order it for truck spacing if using that water pump.

I got the bed fill and just going to cut out a hole In the floor. I'm going to upgrade the bed to wood down the road and will do a cleaner install then. I would love to see pics of your install. Honestly that's how I get most of my answers and ways of doing things. See how others did the job and also asking of course. Yea the pup loves riding in the back lol.
