Default Ideas for 6.0 truck intake

Pulled a 6.0 out of a 2009 2500 truck. Motor is getting BTR stage 3 cam, lifters, etc. This is going in a 37 international pickup on an s10 frame. Is there a way to clean up the truck intake to make it look better? What intake manifold would you recommend for performance and looks for this setup? Either new or pick up one someone is trying to sell.

The intake you have will do a good job. You might have to re-route the wire harness, plus take a grinder to some of the ribs all over the top. I've seen some very clean truck intakes on these forums. Maybe do a search and see what you find.

Appreciate it. I thought I had seen some decent looking diy jobs, then I looked at my intake and got a little overwhelmed. So just grind off ribs and clean it up? I thought I heard that these intakes do pretty well performance wise.

They really do! They give an LS6 or LS3("standards" of OEM manifolds) a run for the money. A FAST would give you more, IF needed with a big cam or heads, etc. Even with the cam you spec above, it should still hold its own fairly well. Have fun! Should be a Cool Cornbinder!
