Seeing as you have already placed the order & seems you did your home work. I met with a guy that had an ls3. He sent his heads to TSP for their cnc port job. He also had a stage 2 cam. Can't remember if TSP or Tick. They're pretty close either way. The rod modded ls3 intake is what he had.
The car sounded awesome. Nice lope. Car pulled great to 7k.
If you go to TSP website. They have dyno sheets for all of their cams for the ls3. As said I think their stage 2 is exactly the same as the tick at .050". You'll see that their stage 4 cam, that's a little bigger than the one your thinking, doesn't even gain a full 10hp over the stage 2.
