GM Engine Controller Kit, CAN bus? I’m in the final stages of preparation for a Porsche 996 LS swap and have a question for you all. I’m planning to run the LS376/525 crate with the GM Controller kit (19354332) and in an effort to avoid some excessive dash wiring, I would like to utilize the Racepak IQ3 display dash through OBDII. Here’s the question: Racepak says their OBDII connection only works with ECMs that are 2008 and newer, since this is a crate there’s obviously no model year, so does anyone know if the GM Controller has a CAN bus and will work with this setup? Also, is anyone running this setup?

I believe the GMPP kits use the e67 ECU using a custom OS. My kit referenced a 2006 CTSV ECU. I got my kit in 2008, so I have no idea what GM has done since then.
