Gold and Silver version difference? Throttle Body

Are they different? I currently have a gold blade with my engine and popped 2101 and 1516 at WOT above 6000 RPMs. Is fine everywhere else...if I had the wrong throttle body, would it be obvious?

What car? Assuming DBW with a po1516? Gold DBW is for LS3/7; Silver DBW is LS2. The golds open backwards dont work on LS1/2 computers.

What TB was on it before?
