Help converting LS1 to LS2

I'm going to a forged LS2 block replacing the LS1 in my 2003 Corvette. What external engine covers etc do I need that will not fit from the LS1 engine? I will be keeping the LS1 computer, intake and heads.

I will get a 24 tooth reluctor with the forged LS2 bottom end. I know the cam sensor must be on the from cover on the LS2 correct ? and I will need a harness extension to the engine front. Bur are the timing chain and gears different? Oil pump?

But could someone with experience in this change over just list what I will need. Thanks

Timing Set 1/2 Moon + Sensor wiring change

Hi Getty, YES agreed, you will need to fit a 1/2 Moon Cam Timing Sprocket.

I sell the Avon Billet Timing set for a cost of $158.00 + USPS of $10.00 shipping.

YOU WILL NEED to switch the TWO OUTSIDE wires side/side for the NEW front cover sensor. (push-to-seat)
