Default No maf sensor????

No Maf?
I Acquired a 2004 gto not too long ago. The factory engine was shot so I replaced with 6.0 lq4 (plan for boost) . Factory engine had nice set of heads and cam on it so I swapped them. Now the car is completed and I’m looking and wondering why there is no MAF sensor on this car? Is there a reason for this being the car is tuned or am I correct in assuming i need a MAF?

I'd bet a previous owner removed the MAF and tuned for SD.

Its been tuned for Speed Density. If you're not running through different elevations, you're good to go.
What's your location?

Ok I was just making sure before I went to get one. I’m from North Alabama. I made an appointment to have it re-tuned by a local ls tech. Thanks for the info. Greatly appreciated!
