Torque Specs
Could someone please point me in the direction of finding the torque specs for an l96? I can find most of the internals, but I cannot find things like: accessories (alt, ac, ps, brackets) or intake bolts. I looked into buying the service manual, but that seems over kill (it was 250 for my donor car). I called the dealership, and they were not much help. I was not sure if the hayes manual would have this information in them or not.

For non motion parts, there are some standard torque settings based on size,
The Carrol Smith book on fasteners has generic torque info in it.. I've used it a lot to
fill in when I wanted to be consistent and accurate but couldn't find something specific.
A basic Haynes/Chilton should have all the manifold specs in it.
Also hit up used bookstores, sometimes you'll find the old "Motors" service manuals.
They are awesome for this kind of stuff.
