LY6 Rear Main Seal Orientation 
I know this is a simple question but I wanna make sure this seal gets installed correctly. Which side goes in towards the engine(facing front of engine)?
Neither side says "this side out"
The side that has two side by side small squares has some numbers on it. Thanks
Double squares facing out or toward rear of engine. It is a Teflon seal, so goes on dry to crank seal surface. Initial starting friction burns the seal in. No spring, so just make sure it does not get tucked or rolled when installing. Should be concentric all the way around the crank before tightening the plate.
