Default 411 LS3 head recommendation

I've been going back and forth on my build on the heads. The short block is a 411 (4.00 Molnar crank, 6.125 Molnar rods and 10cc Dome 4.045 Carillo Pistons) milled ten thousands it will be at 13.9 compression. It is going into a rock bouncer so I am looking for torque and not looking to spin to 8K RPMS. I have a set of ported FED LS3 heads but they are 288CC and have been milled .0010. My only concern is that with this big of an intake cc I will not get as much torque as a set of Land speed 265-267 heads. would I be better off selling the FED heads and buying a set of 265 from Land speed or is there another company that ports ls3 heads to 270CC?

Do you know how much the FED heads flow? Mast is a better head, But BS if you go out and get a pair. When you have a good head. Get with Steven @ cam motion and call FED for a recommendation. Shorter duration with lift with decent compression will work better than 3000 dollars. Work with what you have now. If more is needed work from there. You can make Tq without buying a new set of heads.

F it just spend $. Theme.... BS.

I agree with Smokey you can definitely crutch bigger heads with cam duration and the right specs.
Key is obviously the right Cam Guy, I have been very happy with Steven @ Cam Motion.

But ..... If you want to spend the money.... MMS LS3 Heads >265 CC flow better than all heads
mentioned sofar.

What i've noticed is this.
Larger factory ports like the one used would Llike Lift & Key along with intake chosen = Carb style would work out BEST. CID intake.
262/280 duration 780 lift with a 112lsa+2 less duration would kill the 8000 peak. 4 ref. i use a 270@ .050 & 115lsa 110 intake centerline to get to a 8k peak

I've not been inpressed with none of the aftermarket Ls3 heads or the combos. Only thing is dyno numbers which don't mean nothing except you got power. 2 many 600rwhp+ dyno runs and 10's and at best 9.6's aftermarket Ls7 heads included. Funny thing is ask 1 of the guys like hammer how much he has invested in those heads .... Being Mast with Tony's work for a higher rpm build... Still say the car would have been faster with more stroke. But rather be different than faster . You can do what you want. I do what i'm told on how to make hp and a et. Take the same 416 place it in Hammer's car = a 9 sec pass Cheaper Fact! Lower the comp to match it also still = 9's with factory heads.

Hell the highest hp stock Ls3 runs just about what a mast head runs with more compression, rpm,& cid. List the weights and there you have it. LLSR was used also?
