Default Electric Cutouts with Straight Pipes

I have a probably dumb question, but I figure of you dont ask you don't know. Currently my setup for my 2010 SS Camaro is muffler delete, x-pipe, resonator delete, secondary cat delete, and then I have my first cats but hollowed out. My question is if I was to purchase electric cutouts and put them let's say a little bit past my cat that's still on there, would there be any increase in sound? I'm not worried about gains, just sound. I dont want to waste the money if there's zero point. Thank you for any info on that!

The closer your cut-outs to the headers, the louder it will be.
Yes...cut-outs will be loud.

Yes, Holley cutouts are loud. Also be cautious about how close you put them to an oxygen sensor lest you possibly throw an OBD II code.

Thank you for your response everyone! I already got it tuned with the O2's not being there so I will probably put them right before the x-pipe!

There are O2 sensors on both sides of the catalyst. The "upstream" ones are used for closed loop fuel control, and the "downstream" ones are used for catalyst efficiency monitoring. Just FYI.

Near an x-pipe should be far enough away to prevent erroneous readings when open.
