Cam is 196/208, .467/.479 116LSA (Summit specs page)

The heads are pretty good as is, but a light CNC port job will not hurt at all. You mainly need a cam. Call a cam grinder for the best advice.

NA build? If shootn for 550-600 fwhp, id say keep bottom end stock. If its in good shape of course. Hard to beat reliability of a factory 6liter, even with some mileage on it. You can Spend more money on top end and induction. All the lil things add up fast. SBE can take a whippin.

A intake can make or break your whole motor... its not just the cam that matters. I recommend you reading this article here.

^^^^^^This, plus TSP has some good cams and can advise on them. If a good cam recommendation is what you need, these guys can help you.

exactly what heads, cam and intake are you running?

LS3/L92 heads flow better than LS2 243 heads.

The LS3 GM intake flows great as well for a factory piece. A Fast 102mm cathedral intake might just help you tremendously.

It dont take much of a cam to make a LS3 headed combo to come alive. Im running a 229/244 from BTR with my LS3 heads and its a healthy motor.

Look in the dyno section.... its nothing for a cammed LS3 headed motor to put down 475 at the rear wheels.

If you are using the STOCK LS2 intake, that is choking it. The Dorman replacement is far better, as they used old FAST tooling to design it.

I'm not, FAST 102 made for cathedral ports, trick flow "fast as cast" 220 heads
