Hooking up my knock sensors on a used LY6. They are in different clocked positions , neither conducive to connecting the leads. Can they be loosened and rotated? I know that this is a newbie question but I don't want to hose what look to be good sensors.

 

You can turn them any way you want. Loosen the bolt and turn them. Do not over tighten the bolt when tightening. 22 ft lbs, which is basically good and snug plus a quarter turnish.
