Default Texas Speed 102mm Throttle Body

Hello All,

I have an L92 swapped 72 c10 shorted that I'm planing to run a Holley Hiram intake on. I have the Hiram but when choosing throttle bodies I ran into a question. I know the general knowledge is to go with the NW 102mm throttle and call is quits.

I saw though that Texas speed has their own 102, 105, 108mm throttle bodies at very good prices! Does anyone have experience with these throttle bodies?

Or does anyone know any bolt on dbw throttle body’s for the hi ram? Do any stock LS throttle body’s bolt up to the 105mm Hi-Ram?

Running one right now. Faults every time around 7300-7400 and kicks throttle body into limp mode. Buying a Nick Williams like I should've in the first place.

Been flawless under that rpm though, so may work for you.

Default what's the biggest ls2 silver blade equivalent?

Would it be the nick williams 102/103 or are there any larger ones out there? It's retrofit using a harness that will allow the use of a ls2 silver blade throttle body. If I use a later style dbw throttle body, I'm going to have electronic issues. Researching for a 598" 8.1l gen 7 big block which has a lot of design cues from the lsx platform. Thanks!

You should be good with the 102mm TB I believe Holley high ram has 2 different size lid for the TB the 92mm and the 105mm I just sold my 102mm NW for $350 😔 I’m doing a 112mm TB on my stroker I had to open up my Holley to a 112mm. If you do something bigger that requieres a spacer plate (Bcs of the bolts patter) I recommend Getting the straight one not the chanfer one (meaning for example going from 112m to 102mm on anangle etc) if you get the straight one you will also need to blend the holley lid so it won’t be no restrictions/or cause air turbulence. But I think you should be good with the 102mm

who does the 112? That’s huge
