Default LS2 intake manifold - can it be repaired?

I just today noticed that the purge valve nipple got broken off at some point. Can this be glued together and fixed in a satisfactory way? Or must the manifold be replaced?

Maybe try some epoxy? Is it a clean break?

I had read somewhere that the material does not work very well with adhesives. Does epoxy work well with it? As for the break, it is pretty clean.

OK that might be. Otherwise possibly cut/file the nipple down on the manifold and see if a brass fitting of some sort might fit in the resulting flat hole.

Looks the the EGR port on the intake!

Clean everything up real good and break out the JB Weld and get after it.

I thought about some sort of metal fitting. I’m not sure how much material there is there for something with threads to grab onto. But it might be worth a try.

It’s the EVAP purge fitting, actually. There is no EGR on a GTO LS2.

EVAP that's what I meant but none the less doable!

Call peak speed shop he'll tell which adhesive, they cut and graft these manifolds all the time that part has been broken more times then you can count and glued back together
