Default Spark Plug?
I'm trying to figure out what spark plugs to put in my motor. I've seen a few people running NGK tr6 4177 for a cooler plug. Any recommendations or links would be great.
The motor hasn't run yet so I have nothing to go off.
Motor specs- l96 gen4 6.0,with flat top pistons 10.2 comp,
Comp cam 54-458-11 227/235 @.050 113 LSA ,
44 lbs injectors
4l60e trans, 3000stall

Definitely looks like a TR6 will suffice. Could probably use a TR55 as well. Seems like a lot of injector, any boost or something?

TR55 is where I’d start.

I have almost the exact same engine setup and run TR55. Works great!

They're stock stock l96 injectors.

I ran the .055 gapped TR55's for about 6k miles after HCI upgrades on my N/A 400+whp 6spd. 228/230 .585 112lsa, 243's and Ls6 intake and full exhaust. Noticed ticking and rough idle with them. thread bounced on here until I finally decided to make the switch to the. 040 gap TR6's, muuuuuuch better. Ticking is gone, throttle response and pulls are much smoother. Overall?? I'm staying with the TR6's for my setup. Old plugs didn't look bad when pulled btw.

I as well have had good luck with TR55's. I ran them on my LS2, as well as LS6. With basic boltons, no problems for me.
