408 build help

408 build help Thanks in advance for all your advice.
I've owned a few ls cars but this will be my first build and before I start ordering parts and head to the machine shop I would like some opinions from those who have been there and done this before.
Parts I have
6.0 w/821 heads
4.00 crank 6125 rods
th400
My goals are 1200 to 1500hp the car 5th gen camaro will be twin 76s and street driven some but mostly track. My question is would I be better off staying with the 6.0 are go with the 408 and what cam valve springs and lifters should I go with. Again thank you all for the help and sorry I know this has been discussed before but all im finding is old threads and i work 14hr days its really hard to search for stuff
