Alternator mount/electric water pump Just had a 5.3 built and running a Blower Shop 6-71. I bought the ATI Super Damper they recommended. I'm getting ready to order an alternator mount. That's the only thing I'll be running on the motor. It's going in a pretty lightweight model A so no power steering. I like the looks of the ICT Billet low alternator mount. It looks like you have to run an electric water pump with that set up. I've seen Holley and Mezier and Moroso and Mr. Gasket water pumps. Anyone recommend one over another? Some of them are almost double the price of others. I see 55 gpm for the Mezier's and 35 and 40 for the Holley. I did not see an advertised gpm for the Moroso at least on the sight I saw it on. Whats "enough" flow? It looks like a stock mechanical water pump flows a lot less than any of those. I realize those are free flow numbers on the electrics. This is a fenderless, hoodless hot rod. Running a Walker brass '32 radiator with an electric puller fan on it. Any advice is appreciated. If I can save a buck I would but not at the expense of cheeping out.
