Default Elite CSS install confusion C6z06 Ls7

I recently purchased an Elite E2 catch can that installed straight forward with the valley and intake ports.

The issue is installing the CSS clean side separator. The instructions for the c6z06 don't match what they mention should be there from factory.
They show completely different lines that look to be from a c7 that not only look different, but route another way compared to a c6z06.

Elite instructions say:
"The Passenger's Side Valve Cover has two fittings that join the vent through the dry sump tank and also connect to the air box pictured below, this is where the Clean-Air Separator is installed. "

From factory, there is only 1 fitting on the passenger side valve cover. The line that goes to it and tee's to the driver's side valve cover as well as the lower side port of the dry sump tank, goes to the rear most port (of the 2 upper ports) on the dry sump tank. That's it, it does NOT have anything going to the air intake or airbox.

The line that does go to the airbox/air-intake, strictly goes to the front most port (of the 2 upper lines) on the dry sump tank.

**Does the front most dry sump tank port/nipple get capped?
Does the CSS installed in place of the oil fill cap, simply need a hose going from the CSS nipple to the airbox/air-intake?
Is that it?

Thanks

cant help you with an elite but i just installed a MM on my c6z. the lines that ran from the valve covers to the dry sump tank were left alone. stock there is a short hose that goes from just below/behind the throttle body in the intake to the valley cover. this hose gets removed and the catch can routed to those two spots.

On the dry sump if you are using the stock set up one line goes form the valley pan to the CC and the other CC to the intake manifold plug. On the oil tank side you can leave everything but in photo I see you have a Elite Engineering tank to air bridge fitting. What you have there is fine. Normally that plugged line goes to the front. On mine I have each valve cover going to the tube on the dry sump tank and then I use a 1/2 inch line to go to the Elite dry sump cap to the air bridge. This way I have two 3/8s lines going to the tank and a 1/2 inch going to the air bridge.

The catch can portion with the valley port and intake port I have already routed to the catch can, the confusion is with that additional CSS that Elite sells, but thank you for the reply.

I was looking online to see what each dry sump tank port does but couldn't find anything conclusive. Like I wasn't sure if there was a directional flow or special purpose to each port, or if each of the 2 upper ports are just in the same space and either/or can be utilized as a dirty or clean side.

They are just 2 tubes that go into the tank. They are separated a little inside but no specific directional flow. The one front tube going to the front has some baffling underneath it.

Elite got back to me and this is the final routing in case any Ls7 c6z06 people are looking for clarification.
I had the front-most dry sump tank port plugged but now it's connected, similar to the post up above from another user. Enjoy!
