Pre-Lube pump
Pre-Lube pump Yep, dumb idea with marginal benefit, and possibly even added risk. I have a gear type 12v oil pump, and thinking about using it as a pre-start oil pump. Pickup from drain plug or bung welded above it, to gear pump, and hose into block before oil filter.
Maybe just do it for the first start after build? Try to incorporate it into my every start routine? Just use it for oil changes, or don't do it at all? Higher dollar LSA build, so considering few things that could possibly help it stay happy.
