Has anyone shaved a L96 intake

Has anyone shaved an L96 intake? Im needing more space under my hood and was hoping I can accomplish this by shaving the intake. I've noticed a lot of people doing it to gen 3's but haven't seen any L96's. I'd really like to use this intake so any pics or info would be greatly appreciated!

How much more room do you need??
Any more than an inch or two, shaving won't get what you need.

it's close probably just around an inch or so that's why I'm thinking of going this route if possible

Does it look like you have an inch or so of plastic to remove?
I didn't think there was last time I saw a Gen IV truck intake,but it's been a while...

I've seen a bunch of people shave them and ruin them. I'm sure it can be done properly if you use common sense.
