Default Steam ports w/LSXrt manifold

Finally have the time and finances to put my 402 in. I was wondering what everyone else is using for the steam vents with the LSXrt manifold. I am using the FAST rails and taller LS2 style injectors. Everything I have read says all the kits have fitment issues etc. They're also very expensive for what it is IMO. Should I stick with the 4 ports? Block the rears and use the fronts?

Default Steam port

I just purchased the 4 port kit from nitrous outlet. Wasn't cheep, but none of it is. Cheep insurance I figured to help eliminate hot spots. Nice kit!

Let me know how it fits? The reviews I have seen are that it fits very poorly but I could be wrong. I'm definitely leaning towards keeping the 4 port but if it's not necessary..

Maybe wouldn't work for you but I use a 2002 ? LS coolant cross over. But I clip off the outlet tube and drill and tap the right side block for 1/8" NPT. Then use -3 SS line from the port to the radiator. Pics aren't the best but you get the idea.
I don't do the 4 port just the two front ports.

I don't use the rear ports either and I'm nearing 20k miles and no issues that I've found.

I highly DO NOT recommend the outlet kit. What a piece of garbage. You can basically make your own kit these days pretty cheap. The project can be as cheap or expensive as you want it to be. Some people use two front factory steam vent lines and tee them together.

Just mocked mine up. All seems well. Took me twenty minutes to figure it out, and hand tighten everything. I think it looks great and professional. Curious what you think is garbage about it? Is there something I should be looking for?

Has anyone tried to use the early OEM C5 Corvette 4 port system? Everyone said I couldn't use it on my old LS1 with 90mm FAST intake, but I did, and had no intake cracks or vacuum leaks. Maybe a machine shop could machine the valley cover down a small amount and the OEM 4 port could possibly work. It might be worth researching. Getnit, I see that you aren't running the later PCV type cover, so the machining would be easier with not having to work around that.....

Get it,
I used to be down on the 2 port setup, but now that I'm nearing 50,000 miles on my built LS7 with the 2 port setup, I've gotta say it works fine. What people have to do, especially with the 2 port, is to get the front end as high as possible. At one point in time, I used a 30" lift floor jack. When it was at max lift, I put jack stands under the front of the car, lowered the jack, and slid some 1 foot square barn beams under the floor jack. Then I jacked it up another foot. I figured 42" was plenty, and it was. Never had any problem with burping doing that. Could use a few 6"×6" or 4"×6" square posts in place of the barn beams, which can be tough to find depending on your location. Really, anything you can use to help elevate the front. Maybe a buddy has an inclined driveway, or a grassy knoll, etc.......

The fitment on a car 102 intake is ****. The connecting tower is a pain to get the fittings in with no room around it and they all need installed in a specific order. The line that goes under the tb inlet on the manifold is all jacked up between it and the water pump...etc.
