Good evening, I have a 95 wrangler with a swapped 53 L that has stage three Texas speed cam installed from the previous owner. This has been a journey for me to say the least but I have a new problem that has me stumped and I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction. The last time I drove the jeep I was having some issues with the engine running, which I found was the fuel pump so I fixed that. And I’ve also had an issue using HP tuners with my old ECM, which tech support told me was corrupted by the previous tuner. So I had to order a new ECM which I did and I installed that at the same time I made the fuel pump repairs. Now the jeep will only crank and run for a second, and then shut off. I plugged the old ECM back in as well and it’s doing the same thing so it’s not just related to the new ECM. Any ideas would be very helpful. Thank you.

vats shut off on either pcm?

Yes, vats has been removed, and the engine ran fine with the original pcm originally.

Sounds like vats isn't disabled...

Need to test and see what it's losing when shuts off... start with injector pulse and spark

Thanks for the reply, I found the problem. It ended up being that the input settings for the VVT delete weren’t done.
