Default I think I have the wrong ati dampener.

I purchased this dampener 15 yrs ago. Decided to install it. It does not line up with the rest of the pullies. It's too short. I try looking for part numbers to identify it but do not see any on the front. What are my choices.

There should be a number stamped on the hub, the part that gets pressed onto the engine.

The balancer itself should be the same. The hub is what determines the spacing.

I've had several show up with the wrong hub, even though the asshat I spoke to at ATI said I was wrong until I sent him pictures of the part numbers.

What FEAD spacing are you using? Fbody, truck?

It's hard to tell anything from the pictures, is the belt itself too far or does it look like the front of the dampener is closer to the engine that you think it should be?

I have the same issue with a new one, using truck spacing and it sits too far in. It wont hold a 6 rib belt so using a 5 rib until I figure out what to do with it.

Google ATI catalog. Starting on the 2nd or 3rd page, they start listing the individual components of each setup. You should be to figure out what hub you need to get your spacing right.

I'm using fbody assessories.
the dampener is not far enough out to align with the other pullies

I will look for that number on the hub.
