LS 427 vs. LS 434

LS 427 vs. LS 434 I’ve always been told by builders that an LS 427 is the better option because anything larger on a standard deck will result in piston rock, piston poke, core shift, improper valve angles, and so on. But every so often, I see LS 434 builds that goes against what I’ve learned. I’ve searched and waited for somebody else to ask this question so I wouldn’t feel stupid. Well today, I decided to be ‘that guy’ who should know the pros and cons, but doesn’t. So, what the heck am I missing?
