Default Oil sending unit location

Where is the oil sending unit on my 2011 zo6? And does it communicate with the DIC oil pressure result and the analog gauge?

Screws into the block, behind the intake and valley cover.

You don't have an "analog" oil pressure gauge. It's a digital stepper motor driven by the data stream coming out of the ECM. Butt yes, the ECM uses that one input device/sen-sore to generate the data, which it then distributes to multiple "consumers" including of course the gauge.

Negative, it's in the Valley Cover. Your other part is correct, it's digital.
